Parisian, Umbra Volume
A clean and elegant Art Deco style, Parisian was designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1928. The most distinctive feature of the Parisian font is the very large ascenders in comparison to the small x-height. Also of note are the thick verticals used in contrast with fine lines and the unusual juxtaposition of uppercase and lowercase characters. Umbra is a three dimensional version of Berthold Grotesque, but without lowercase letters. Use the Umbra font for effect in display work.
